Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a wedding film cost?
Our wedding film packages start at ,200 for film-only coverage and ,400 for photo and film together. Every wedding is different — we build packages around what your day needs. Tell us your date and we'll give you a specific number.
What's included in wedding day coverage?
Full-day coverage means we're there from the start of your getting-ready time through the last dance. We capture the ceremony in full, all speeches, the first dance, parent dances, toasts, and the candids in between. We don't cap hours or charge extra for cocktail hour.
How long does it take to receive our film?
Our standard delivery timeline is 6–8 weeks from your wedding date. During peak season (May–October) it may run closer to 8–10 weeks. You'll always know where your film is in the process — we communicate at milestones, not silence.
Do you travel outside Cape Girardeau?
Yes. We regularly film weddings across Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Western Kentucky. Our core service area includes Jackson, Scott City, Farmington, Cape Girardeau, Carbondale, Marion, Makanda, Paducah, and the surrounding communities. We'll confirm any specific logistics when we discuss your venue.
Can we choose the music for our film?
Yes. We work with a licensed music library that gives us access to thousands of songs — we'll help you choose music that fits your film. If you have specific songs in mind, we'll do our best to source them. We don't use popular radio music due to licensing restrictions, but the library we use has excellent quality options.
What's the difference between a highlight reel and a cinematic film?
A highlight reel is typically 3–5 minutes of your best moments set to music. A cinematic film is longer, structured around the actual story of your day — ceremony in full (or near-full), speeches, and the narrative arc of how your day unfolded. We don't sell hour-long ceremony recordings. We sell films that hold up years from now.
Can we add Same-Day Premiere to any package?
Yes. Same-Day Premiere is available as an add-on to any of our coverage packages. We limit the number we offer per year to ensure every one gets our full attention. If it's important to you, mention it when you inquire — we'll tell you whether it's available for your date.
